As some of you know, mikeroweWORKS.org is once again in the midst of awarding a million dollars in scholarships to the next generation of skilled workers. Doing so is harder than you think, thanks to a long list of myths and misperceptions that discourage people from considering dozens of worthwhile careers.
This year, I’m pushing back against these myths and misperceptions with a very modest series of homemade videos called “People You Should Know.” Specifically, people who have prospered as a direct result of learning a skill that’s in demand.
