I awoke today in Portland, relieved to greet the new day with a steady and powerful stream.
This is no small matter. At my age, (or any age, really,) a steady and powerful stream is no longer guaranteed, and to be officially acknowledged for being “streamy” is an honor I take seriously. https://bit.ly/2QYAwCO
Now, is my stream worthy of a trophy? Am I really “streamier” than everyone else in my category? I have no idea. Honestly, I’m not even sure what my category is. But if there is a trophy in my future, you may rest assured that I’ve reserved a place for it on the back of my commode, where it will serve as an ongoing reminder to all who look upon it that a steady and powerful stream is indeed, a consummation devoutly to be wished.
Trophies notwithstanding, it’s an honor just to be nominated, and have my name mentioned with so many other streamy people. Good luck to us all!
