2.5 Million in Trade School Scholarships

If you haven’t noticed, (and even if you have), we’re in the midst of another enrollment period for our work ethic scholarship program. I’m not sure why, but we have so far received 10X the number of applications we normally get by this time. For this reason, it would be smart to complete your application sooner than later. At this rate, I’m not sure how long the enrollment period will last.

Attached are the stories of two more individuals who had the good sense to apply for one of our scholarships several years ago. Emma Frick wanted to be an electrician, and we were pleased to help her. Today, she owns her own company, Champion Electric, https://championelectricnc.com/.

Jake Kern was growing tired of his job in customer service, and wanted to try something new. We helped pay for his welding certification, and today, he runs Madsen Made Welding & Fabrication, building railings, gates, and fences. https://madsenmadewelding.com/

The scholarships are real, and so too are the opportunities. I can’t tell you how gratifying it is to see people like Emma and Jake master a skill that’s in demand, and then turn it into a thriving small business. Assisting such individuals is a privilege, and I’m grateful to everyone on this page whose generosity has made it possible for me to do so. Apply today at mikeroweWORKS.org/scholarship. Or, support our efforts, if you’re so inclined. The DONATE button is hard to miss…
