Big thanks to everyone who filled the sanctuary last night at The Church of the Redeemer, here in beautiful Baltimore. So nice to be home, surrounded by so many old friends. I was humbled by the enormous turnout, delighted by your many excellent questions, and touched that so many of you stuck around to say hello and grab a pic.
Thanks also to Sheliah Kast from NPR, who moderated like a pro and rolled with the punches, Emma Snyder over at The Ivy Bookshop, Mary Sullivan at mikeroweWORKS, Jen Robinson at Simon &Schuster, and to my mother and father, who stole the show, as usual.
I will say, that while I’ve grown accustomed to the site of large crowds armed with smart phones pointed in my ge
neral direction, I’ve never seen a group of this size armed with books festooned with my face upon the cover. It’s a weird, but gratifying sight. Emma has a few extra signed copies over at The Ivy, if you’re so inclined.
