What happens in Vegas, must NOT stay in Vegas – especially what happened yesterday. After a number of trials and contests held all over the world, Cat arranged a competition at Con Expo to determine the best heavy equipment operator in the world.
It was terrific. Nine men from all over the planet showed what really big machines can do in the hands of people who really know what they’re doing. It was one of the best examples I’ve ever seen of how big companies can celebrate their workers, and make case for pursuing a career in the trades. These guys were incredible – all of them. Congratulations to the winner – Jaus Neigum, from Canada, who bent the yellow iron to his will, and walked away with first prize. Great work.
