As far as I know, Jade Estrada is the only natural brunette at mikeroweWORKS. I could be wrong, but I would no sooner question the actual color of her locks as I would doubt the accuracy of the number atop her annual birthday donut. I learned years ago to believe whatever Jade Estrada tells me, and those around her would be well-advised to do the same.
Anyway, today is Jade’s birthday, and the rest of my employees have decided to honor her by dressing like Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, for whom Jade is sometimes mistaken. And if you’re wondering which of these raven haired beauties is The Real Jade Estrada, spoiler alert – it’s not the winsome young lass with the goatee in the lower left hand corner, currently identifying as “Chuck.”
If you’re supporter of mikeroweWORKS – and even if you’re not – please join me in wishing The Real Jade Estrada the very happiest of birthdays. My foundation would simply not exist in its current form without her efforts, and many hundreds of tradespeople currently working in their chosen fields would have not benefited from the scholarship program she oversees. Along with her devotion to the scholarship program, she also spearheaded the Work Ethic Curriculum, (now in 56 schools!) and assisted with so many other endeavors that are important to me – including the business of getting my mother back on the best-seller list.
That doesn’t mean I’m going to celebrate by donning a suspicious looking wig and eating a donut. But I will raise a glass with a generous slug of Knobel Tennessee Whiskey, and thank my lucky stars that Jade came back after our first interview, and joined the motley crew at MRW. Please join me in spirit, (as it were), wherever you are, and in whatever hairpiece makes you comfortable.
Happy 29th Birthday Jade!
