You’re just not gonna find a better guy to talk to than Johnny Joey Jones. I’ve been a fan for years, and finally had for a chance to sit down and pick his brain. It’s a big brain, full of wisdom, and hard-won lessons, and humor. His memoir is called Unbroken Bonds of Battle, and I can’t recommend it enough. It’s a genuine love letter to the men he served with, and a must read for anyone who ever wondered about what it really means to sacrifice everything for a cause greater than your own.
