I’ll Drink to That!

As many of you know, I’ve been raising money for mikeroweWORKS by selling a very limited supply of my grandfather’s whiskey and doing a very poor job of anticipating its popularity. The first 12,000 bottles – which I thought would last for several months – sold out in three days, right before Christmas. The feedback has been terrific, (see below,) but supply chain issues, (yes, I’m making excuses,) led to all kinds of shipping delays, and lots of other headaches I won’t bore you with. But here’s the good news – it looks like we have another 12,000 bottles in the works – a few thousand of which are ready to ship immediately, assuming you live in one of the enlightened states that allow its residents to enjoy adult spirits.

If you’re on the mailing list, you should have already received a heads up on the latest inventory. If not, this would be your opportunity to either replenish your supply or enjoy your first bottle of five-year old Knobel Tennessee Whiskey, named for my Pop – Carl Knobel – the man who inspired Dirty Jobs and the mikeroweWORKS Foundation. Sorry about the limited quantity, but it is what it is. First come first served, at knobelspirits.com.

As always, thanks for your patience, and for your support.

Mike

PS. The people in the attached video are not actors. They’re actual customers who I called at random to chat with over a virtual drink, get their opinion on the whiskey, and have a few laughs. It was too much fun not to do again.

PPS. To be clear, I’m not saying that buying a bottle of Knobel Tennessee Whiskey will result in a spontaneous Zoom call from me. But I’m not saying it won’t….

PPPS. Thanks to your support with fundraisers like this one, mikeroweWORKS is awarding another million dollars in work ethic scholarships this spring. If you know someone looking to get trained in the skilled trades, invite them to apply today, at mikeroweWORKS.org/scholarship.
