Here we have an interesting study in collaboration in the field. To my right, is a producer who appears openly skeptical about my thoughts regarding the way in which a particular scene is about to be shot. To my left, is a director who has seen the futility of arguing with me, and no longer has the energy to care. In the middle, we have me, doing my best to persuade and cajole by dredging up my last remaining elements of charm at the end of a very long day.
In this instance, I got my way because I can be extremely persuasive and likeable in short bursts. But in the end, the scene was edited out completely.
Which just goes to show how overrated charm and likeability can be.
