Into the Woods

Last night, on a very sporty flight to DC, (yes, I just beat the storm,) I watched my most recent conversation with James Woods on YouTube, and enjoyed it almost as much as I did in real time. https://bit.ly/49GNxLS Then I scrolled through a few hundred comments and learned that I wasn’t alone. Lots of people are fascinated by his remarkable journey through Tinseltown, his triumphs, his banishment, and more recently, his foray into the music business, where his new albums, (both of them) are now in the Top Ten. This morning, however, with the Keurig on the minibar working overtime and the sleet ricocheting off my hotel window, I learned that Jim’s talents are not limited to the stage, the screen, and the recording studio. Turns out the son-of-a-gun can write, too.

I’ve attached his most recent piece from his newsletter, The Road Back. I don’t think he’ll mind me sharing it, since he refuses to charge people to read his stuff. And I hope he won’t object if I encourage you to subscribe, which I felt compelled to do after reading the attached. You can do likewise, here. https://www.jameswoods.com/news
