The $1.7 Trillion Student Loan Crisis: Who’s Really to Blame?

Forgive the redundancy, but my recent interview with Victor Davis Hanson has reached several million people, and if you’re not among them, (or among the many thousands who have commented on his remarkable perspicacity), I want to encourage you to check out our whole conversation on YouTube. And if you don’t have time to watch the whole thing, take 13-minutes and watch this clip.

This is not the first time I’ve talked to someone who shares my view that something is seriously rotten with our university system, or that the future of our workforce demands we somehow reinvigorate the skilled trades. But it is the first time my concerns have been mirrored by a university professor – from Stanford, no less – who so perfectly and persuasively articulated the severity of the problem, he left me with little to do but nod and listen appreciatively. Perhaps you’ll do the same.
