Underneath this cover, is the mother of all work trucks. I wish I could show it to you, but it won’t be officially revealed until November 6th at SEMA in Las Vegas, and I’ve been sworn to secrecy. I did get a glimpse of it though, when I dropped by the finest auto shop in the world, to chat with the men who built this beast, and better understand what it took to fabricate a work truck like no other. A one-of-kind, completely customized work of art with 1,100 horses under the hood, and nearly 10,000-man hours invested in its design and fabrication. Part beauty, part beast, that will be auctioned off early next year to the highest bidder at the legendary Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona, to benefit the mikeroweWORKS Foundation.
The story of how this incredible collaboration evolved is one that I’ll share in more detail later next month. For now, I just want to thank Colby Donaldson for showing me a design that I didn’t think could be executed, the amazing team at SugarCreek for turning that design into a reality, John Richardson, whose passion for bacon is exceeded only by his generosity, humility, and devotion to the skilled trades, and Craig Jackson for agreeing to feature the mikeroweWORKS (extremely!) Limited Edition Work Truck at the most prestigious automotive auction in America.
I am indebted to you all, and beyond excited to unveil this masterpiece and share it with the world on November 6th.
See you in Vegas!
