The enrollment period for this round of work-ethic scholarships has ended, and I’m pleased to report that for first time ever, we had 10X the number of applicants we normally get. Which means we could have awarded 10X the number of scholarships if we had the resources to do so.
Obviously, something has shifted in the cultural zeitgeist, and more people are giving the trades an honest look. Consequently, I’ll be raising a lot more money this year to expand the reach of mikeroweWORKS and help train the next generation of skilled workers.
