It would be pointless to try and introduce Gene Simmons in a comprehensive way. He’s done too much, lived too long, and reinvented himself too many times to be summed up in a line or two. And so, because my plane is boarding and I’m out of time, I’ll simply tell you that my conversation with this legendary rock star led me to conclude that he is, among a great many other things, a patriot and a Momma’s boy. Although not necessarily in that order. I suspect you’ll reach a similar conclusion.
