Hi Mark. It’s entirely possible. I’ve been working with a company called HomeServe USA, who is currently on a mission to inform homeowners that ruptured sewer and water lines that run from the street to their house are the homeowners responsibility. A ditch seemed like a sensible place to help spread the word.
